About these terms
These terms cover two things: using knswebworks.co.uk (“this site”), and a summary of the standard commercial terms we work to. Paid project work is governed by a separate, signed Master Services Agreement and Statement of Work — where the two disagree, the signed agreement takes precedence.
Using this site
Content on this site is for general information about our services. We keep it accurate but don't guarantee it's error-free or fully up to date. Please don't attempt to breach the site's security, scrape it at scale, or interfere with how it runs.
Intellectual property
The design, code and written content of this site belong to KnS Web Works, except where a project shown here is credited to a client. Nothing on this site transfers to you just by browsing it.
Enquiries aren't a contract
Sending an enquiry through the contact form doesn't create a contract between us. A project begins once we've agreed a Statement of Work and signed the Master Services Agreement.
Service tiers & pricing
The Master Services Agreement sets out three service tiers:
- Tier 1 — MCRS (Missed Call Recovery System) only: £249.99 base fee
- Tier 2 — Website only: £499.99 base fee
- Tier 3 — Website + MCRS bundle: £749.99 base fee
Each tier is deployed under one of three financial frameworks — Hybrid Managed Deployment, Zero-Upfront Partnership, or Raw System Handover — covering ownership, hosting and ongoing support differently. The full detail sits in the signed agreement, not here.
Payment
Invoices are due within 14 days of issue. If payment is overdue by 30 days or more, we may pause hosting, support and access to the application until the account is settled.
Revisions
Managed engagements include uncapped revisions within the scope of the original brief. Handover engagements, and any work outside the agreed scope, are billed at £75/hour.
Warranty
For 30 days after deployment, we fix critical bugs — broken navigation, data loss, security vulnerabilities, or anything that stops the site working as intended — at no extra charge.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability under an engagement is capped at the fees you've paid us in the preceding 12 months, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profit or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the version published here at the time you engage us is the one that applies.
